9-plant kiwi spinach smoothie bowl

Marley Spoon’s Anti-Inflammatory Tropical Smoothie Bowl

 

This is one of my favorite morning smoothies. Sunshine in a bowl :)

Serves 2

Smoothie bowl

2  kiwi, peeled and roughly chopped
1 cup pineapple chunks (canned, with juice, or fresh) 
2 oz baby spinach
1 TBLSP honey or maple syrup (or 2 tsp granulated sugar)
1 banana (frozen if you have it)
1 oz unsweetened, shredded coconut
1/2 cup ice cubes

Topping:

2 TBLSP chia seeds
2 TBSLP roasted, salted cashews
2 TBLSP flax seed
2 TBLSP hemp hearts

Blend all the smoothie ingredients until smooth. Divide between two bowls and top with toppings.

Congratulate yourself for eating NINE PLANTS before the day has even started, and take your microbiome for a chesty little walk.
